It's very tempting to make this a very short posting since nothing ever happens in Las Vegas, but I won't :)
The high end audio section of the show is dominated by what I can only describe as what you might expect both in vendors and punters. I'm sure you understand!
I was delighted to to meet some new folks and want to hold up Dave and Brad, you guys are a delight, Dr And Mrs B and your sons videos, Cole, Roger and your end of day supply and the Khama folks. Overall it was an interesting insight into the business and of course a more than ample supply of loud music. So many Pink Floyd fans out there.
I managed to find at little time to get out of the tower to the best in show stuff and met Karla all the way from Berlin doing her thing and saw a few nice products but have to wonder how many will make it in the next few months. How many 3D printers can the market really support and dresses from printed blocks - guys, really, come on!!!!
I made to to the south hall for a few hours and bumped into an ex-collegue from 13 years previous which was really nice. The bigger items didn't strike me as that exciting although I am sure I'll now find out I missed a ton of cool stuff!
It was also really cool to bump into Skip and Chris after thier shark tank audition and practise my sales pitch. Well every time is practise right :)
But, oh, the night life. So much fun at XS, Surrender and Liason. I know, I was only there for 6 days and that was at least three nights worth. Yup, at least three!! Again, I got to meet people and have a dance with them - thanks to you all. That all said, a trance club would have been very welcome.
So energising, which is helping overcome the sleep deprivation :)
Feels like I lost a bit more weight too :)
